Watching "Google updates" has to be one of the most boring an unproductive things a person can do. Watching these threads that go to 400 replies is not something that will affect your website or your search engine rankings. I'm basically sure that from now on, I'll deal with any upheaval in the rankings by ignoring it.
How I plan on dealing with a movement up or down in the SERPS is by ignoring it. You have to use "moving averages" when dealing with an internet marketing job. You can never just assume your lowest or highest days are now your standard. Over the course of the year, you'll experience wild fluctuations in CPM, so don't expect nice even paychecks. However, you can write your own ticket if you work hard enough, so by all means write it. |
