You need to hustle online
Let's face it: it doesn't cost people much money to get into business on the internet, so there's more competition each and every day. So if you think the job of being an internet marketer is a laid back one, I believe you're mistaken and I'll tell you why. Everyday more competition comes online and invades your marketplace. You cannot sit back and be complacent as your ass gets kicked! You gotta dig in, throw some sand in the face of your competitor and maybe chip a tooth or too! Let's see how much fight Mr. Newbie Competitor has in him then.
And since this is the internet, where everything is virtual, how exactly do we chip the tooth of a competitor? Easy, we do it by outperforming them. There is no other way for us to beat the competition except by doing a better job than them. They only way a small business can succeed in attracting customers is to offer a service or product that is truly unique, or that somehow speaks to certain consumers in a language they understand. If you haven't made that product or service yet, you need to work on your product more than on your marketing. Marketing for a quality product is always easier than trying to dress up horse crap.
