The internet as a community

At times the internet feels like a community, but in other glaring ways it falls far short. The spam and the constant schemes go a long way to hurting the feel of the place.

Over time, as the internet matures, there may be some chance of the whole internet being a warm family, but for now, you'll just have to try to find your spots.

You need to hustle online

Let's face it: it doesn't cost people much money to get into business on the internet, so there's more competition each and every day. So if you think the job of being an internet marketer is a laid back one, I believe you're mistaken and I'll tell you why. Everyday more competition comes online and invades your marketplace. You cannot sit back and be complacent as your ass gets kicked! You gotta dig in, throw some sand in the face of your competitor and maybe chip a tooth or too! Let's see how much fight Mr. Newbie Competitor has in him then.

And since this is the internet, where everything is virtual, how exactly do we chip the tooth of a competitor? Easy, we do it by outperforming them. There is no other way for us to beat the competition except by doing a better job than them. They only way a small business can succeed in attracting customers is to offer a service or product that is truly unique, or that somehow speaks to certain consumers in a language they understand. If you haven't made that product or service yet, you need to work on your product more than on your marketing. Marketing for a quality product is always easier than trying to dress up horse crap.

That's for you to discover, by finding the method that works best for you. But just make sure to always think outside the box and don't be afraid of a little, old-fashioned hustle.
Watching "Google updates" has to be one of the most boring an unproductive things a person can do. Watching these threads that go to 400 replies is not something that will affect your website or your search engine rankings. I'm basically sure that from now on, I'll deal with any upheaval in the rankings by ignoring it.

How I plan on dealing with a movement up or down in the SERPS is by ignoring it. You have to use "moving averages" when dealing with an internet marketing job. You can never just assume your lowest or highest days are now your standard. Over the course of the year, you'll experience wild fluctuations in CPM, so don't expect nice even paychecks. However, you can write your own ticket if you work hard enough, so by all means write it.

Great question and one that I'm very glad I asked myself. My thought today is "hustle". I think I've lacking hustle lately and it's allowing my clearly inferior competitors to get ahead of me. Well enough of this sickness.

My hustle is back, baby! I'm hustling! I'm blogging like a literal madman. No one can keep up with a blogger like me.

Well that's what I was thinking on this gray October day. I hope you're having happy thoughts.

Vacationing in Miami Beach Florida

I just love vacationing in Miami Beach Florida.. I love the Art Deco hotels of South Beach (SoBe). I love the warm air and all of the tanned people. I love to see people jogging with their Ipods and dogs on the Beachwalk. And I love the feeling of being on vacation.

If you've never visited Miami Beach, I really suggest you give it a try. The vacation is reasonably priced from most major American cities, and prices are pretty good. The Art Deco hotels tend to be updated, with many amenities. Look to going in April or later to ensure the best weather.
